When selecting an area, look for trees, towers, antennas, power lines and anything else that may damage the balloon or pose a safety risk.*Site inspection - starts at $50.00. Balloon activities require 250' by 250', free and clear of all obstacles, such as buildings, trees, ponds, fences, overhead telephone and electric lines and accessible by vehicle. To help clear up any questions about your location, we recommend a site inspection for tethers and special location launches. The minimum charge of $50 includes inspections within 25 miles of Greenfield, Indiana. Locations outside of 25 miles from Greenfield, Indiana incur a charge of $1.50 per mile.
The total package includes up to two hours of tethering plus set up, pack up, and travel time*. Tether time starts when the cold inflation starts. That is when the fan is turned on and the balloon begins to inflate. Our tether/promotion package starts at $1250 for the first two hours while the additional hourly rate drops to a low $450 per hour. Billing for additional hours occur in 30 minute intervals after the first two hours.
*(Travel includes areas within a 25-mile radius from Greenfield, Indiana. Additional miles are billed at $1.50 per mile).
A Deposit of $500.00 is due to reserve a date when event is scheduled. Should the event be cancelled do to inappropriate weather (determined by Pilot in Charge) a refund would be issued in the amount of $250.00. Should the team make an appearance and the weather is found to be unacceptable after arriving at tether location - the full deposit is retained.
